By continuing to place your order you approve Rugvista AB’s terms and conditions and confirm to have read the information regarding personal data processing in Rugvista’s privacy policy.

2. Order and formation of contract
These terms and conditions apply when you shop in the capacity of a private individual (consumer) (“Customer” or “you”). By using our website and/or placing an order you agree to the terms herein, and you confirm to purchase for private purposes exclusively. You further confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and not placed under guardianship.
By continuing in the order process and clicking “Buy now” you are placing a binding order for the items in your shopping cart. A binding purchase contract is formed upon receipt of full payment of the purchase price and any shipping costs. Rugvista’s acceptance of the order is evidenced by the order confirmation sent via email which includes the receipt for your purchase.
When you place an order, a Rugvista customer account is created for you. By logging into your account, you can at any time amongst other things see your orders, review items marked as favorites and register returns.
3. Prices and payment
The prices set out at the time of your order apply to your purchase. Prices are in euro EUR and include value added tax (VAT) at the applicable statutory rate. The goods remain Rugvista´s property until full payment of the purchase price. Product prices do not include any shipping – and/or payment fees. The total purchase price for your order is clearly shown before you place the order and is also evidenced in the order confirmation.
We always strive to have correct information on our website. However, we reserve the right to make changes related to typos and technical problems in connection with price quotations. We are not bound by prices that you realized or should have realized were incorrect. If an incorrect price has been entered for an item ordered, we will notify you and obtain approval of the corrected price before the order is considered accepted.
You can pay by the payment methods we offer in the order process: card (debit or credit), PayPal, Adyen, Kustom, Klarna and A2A. Rugvista reserves the right to not offer all payment methods for all orders and to refer to other payment methods.
Any payment made via Klarna, Adyen, or PayPal are subject to separate terms between you and Klarna/Adyen/Paypal and these include information about how funds are reserved and withdrawn as part of the payment process. These terms are solely between you and Klarna/Adyen/PayPal and Rugvista is not a party to such agreement. You are responsible for any costs associated with your account transactions.
In the case of card payment encryption solutions are used by our payment partners to ensure your safety when making a purchase by card. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or another card referred to as an alternative in the checkout.
When you choose to pay against invoice, a standard credit review will be undertaken at check-out and Klarna runs a cross check against your personal credit report. When you choose to pay by invoice you will receive payment instructions from Klarna payable within 30 days of your purchase. There is no additional charge for payment by invoice. However, if you do not pay within the due date Klarna may charge late fees and interest rates. If you would like to extend your due date prior to the deadline; please get in touch with Klarna.
Should you choose to pay in installments there are options to choose from and you choose the number of months over which you wish to pay at check-out. Please note that you can at any time during the payment period choose to pay off the entire remaining debt at no additional cost. The agreement regarding financing of your purchase is made between you and Klarna. Charges and interest fees are payable as per the terms of the agreement. Any purchase you make through Klarna’s debit account service will be compiled to your monthly billing account.
Klarna may also offer a “Pay in 3 installments” credit that allows you to pay in three interest-free installments by choosing Klarna as your payment method. The first payment is charged when the merchant confirms the purchase (typically when the product is shipped) and the next two payments are automatically collected 30 and 60 days after the initial payment. The “Transaction Amount” is the value of your purchase. With Pay in 3 installments Klarna will not charge you interest or penalties as long as you respect the automatic payment schedule. If you are late in completing payments, Klarna may charge you a penalty. Any payment that is not completed, including any penalties added, will be charged in the next installment. Payment is made via a valid debit or credit card (prepaid cards are not accepted).
For the full terms and conditions regarding payment by invoice or in installments, we refer to the specific terms of Klarna, PayPal, Adyen, or other payment partners mentioned during the ordering process.
4. Delivery
We always offer at least one free shipping alternative for orders above the applicable minimum order value. The minimal order value and related shipping fee (if any) are presented in the order process. We reserve the right not to offer certain shipping alternatives for a given order and to refer to other shipping alternatives.
We are only obliged to deliver goods available in stock and we reserve the right to cancel an order if an item is out of stock. If an item is not available in stock, we will notify you and refund any payments made by you without undue delay.
Where time periods are expressed in bank days, we mean bank days to mean all of the days between Monday and Friday inclusive, but not public holidays. We procure delivery to the delivery address entered by you in the order process and we assume the risk of the goods until delivered to you or a third party designated by you (but who is not the carrier). We are not responsible for loss or damage to the goods after this point in time. Please note that for home delivery you are responsible for receiving the delivery and bringing the goods inside. For certain orders identification may be required in connection with delivery. Our goal is to deliver your purchase within 2-5 days from receipt of full payment. If your order consists of several items, partial deliveries may occur.
Delivery does not include unpacking of goods, nor removal and disposal of any items. For uncollected packages or goods that are returned to us because you were not available, despite repeated delivery attempts or should you refuse delivery, we have the right to and may charge you 35 Euro incl. VAT for administrative costs. In respect of goods that have been made to order we will charge you the full order value.
Available shipping options, terms and costs are presented in the order process, and you will be informed of the total payable amount (including delivery cost) before you continue to place a binding order for the items in your shopping cart.
5. Statutory right of revocation
You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within 14 days.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you or a third party designated by you (but who is not the carrier) came into possession of the goods. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your message before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you want to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send a clear and unambiguous message to us about your decision to withdraw from the contract (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the standard form for exercising the right of withdrawal below, but it is not mandatory.

The notification shall include the following information: “I hereby revoke the purchase contract entered into by me: [include name], regarding: [include items purchased], ordered on: [include date], received on [include date]. If you wish you may use the revocation form below but there is no requirement to do so.

Effects of Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method) if our return shipping label is used. If Rugvista’s return label is not used, you will be required to pay the direct shipping costs for returning the goods.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we received your notice to withdraw from the contract. We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement that you used for the initial transaction, and the reimbursement will not incur any fees for you.
We will process refunds using the same method of payment which you used for the original transaction unless otherwise is expressly agreed with you. When revoking the contract, you are obliged to return the goods without undue delay and no later than within 14 days from the day of your notification to revoke the contract. We reserve the right to hold off completing your refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned. We will not charge costs for the return if our return shipping label is used.
You have the right to use the product in accordance with its intended purpose as needed in order to determine its characteristics and functionality. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. See section 7 below regarding applicable terms for returns.
The statutory right of revocation does not apply in respect of custom-made goods.
6. 30 days return option
In addition to, and without prejudice to your statutory right of revocation we offer you the option of returning products within 30 days from you receiving them. Your returned items will be deemed returned within 30 days if you send it within such time using our return service. Should you choose to not use our return service returned items will be deemed returned when in our possession. This 30 day return option is preconditioned upon you having examined and tried the product only as you would have in a shop, and upon the product being returned in its original condition, intact and undamaged, and in its original packaging or packaging of the same quality.
See section 7 below regarding applicable terms for returns. If a product is returned and not in the condition described above, we have the right to refuse the return. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected from the 30 days return option.
The 30 days return option does not apply in respect of custom-made goods.
7. Terms regarding returns and refunds
Nothing in these provisions regarding returns shall be deemed to limit or restrict your statutory right of revocation described above.
For returns of goods of a purchase above any applicable minimum order value that is made using Rugvista’s return label (available via link in your order and delivery confirmation and via customer services) we will assume the shipping costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), otherwise you will be required to pay the return shipping costs. If you choose not to use our return service, we are unfortunately unable to provide support regarding the return shipment. When using your own return method, it is your responsibility to ensure that the shipment is returned to us within the 30-day return window and includes all required information and documentation. Any delays arising while the shipment is in transit with a customer-selected carrier will not be covered by us.
A condition for full refund is that the goods are returned in their original condition. A returned product must be unused, clean and undamaged. You are responsible that a returned product is packed well, in its original packaging or other safe packaging. If a product is returned and not in the condition described above, we have the right to refuse the return. If a return is refused the product will be sent back to you and you will be responsible for the shipping costs.
Any refund will be processed using the same method of payment which you used for the original transaction unless otherwise is expressly agreed with you e.g., if you’ve paid by card or PayPal the refunded amount will be credited to your PayPal/card account.
8. Statutory liability for defects
Statutory consumer protection regulation governs our liability for defects. We are, pursuant to law, obligated to deliver goods of the quality and appearance described in the product description.
Liability for defects refers to goods that are defective according to statutory consumer protection regulation and does not cover damage due to abnormal use (for example accidents, careless use, neglected care instructions) or normal wear and tear. Rugvista reserves the right to refuse a liability claim if Rugvista concludes that the product is not defective according to the statutory provisions. If a complaint is not approved, the product will be returned, and the Customer will be charged for shipping costs.
Claims for defects must be made within a reasonable time after you discover the fault and regardless must be asserted within the statutory limitation period from your receipt of the goods. If you wish to make a claim, please contact customer services, and provide information regarding and pictures of the defect. Should your matter require that we examine the product you must use the shipping label provided by Rugvista, if Rugvista’s shipping label is not used you will be charged for shipping costs for examination.
In respect of hand-made products individual minor variations should be expected and do not constitute a defect. In respect of vintage, semi- or antique rugs, usual signs of use, previous ownership, or properties of such rugs evident from the description of the item do not constitute a defect.
9. Damages during transport
We assume responsibility for risks during shipping before the product comes into your possession after initial delivery. You assume the risk in respect of any product thereafter returned or shipped to us.
10. Terms and conditions for promotional offers
Promotional offers cannot be purchased but are issued by Rugvista as part of, or in connection with, a marketing campaign or similar activity. From time to time, we may offer campaigns, discount codes, gifts, and other promotions such as “2 for 1” or other combination offers.
Promotional offers are only valid for a limited period and generally cannot be combined with other offers. Promotional offers may only be used once in connection with a single order and only within the specified validity period. Certain products may be excluded, and a minimum order value may apply for the use of a promotional offer. The total order value of the products must be equal to or exceed the value of the promotional offer. Any amount exceeding the value of the promotional offer can be paid using one of the available payment methods.
Promotional offers cannot be used to purchase gift cards and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Promotional offers cannot be transferred to returns, exchanges, complaints, or future orders. If you return part of a combination offer, the offer ceases to apply and you will pay the full price. The value of a promotional offer is not refunded if you cancel your contract, but the amount paid for the returned products will be refunded.
11. Gift cards
Gift cards are value credits that Rugvista may offer for purchase. Gift cards can only be used to purchase products on the website and cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.
Gift cards can only be used before the order process has been completed. Any order value exceeding the amount of the gift card can be paid using any of the offered payment methods.
Gift cards are valid for the time period stated on the gift card. The value of gift cards will not be paid out in cash, nor will it accrue interest. Rugvista assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards.
12. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights belonging to Rugvista and that are presented on the website are the property of Rugvista AB and/or our licensor who retain all rights thereto. This means that any use of the website or its content that constitutes use other than for the Customer’s private non-commercial use requires prior written permission from Rugvista.
13. Other information
If any provision in these terms and conditions, or part thereof, should be found to be invalid, this shall not affect the validity or interpretation of other provisions in these terms and conditions unless the obligations of Rugvista or the Customer by excluding such terms would be deemed unreasonably onerous.
When you place an order on the website or send us an e-mail and communicate electronically with us you consent to us providing you with transactional documentation, notifications, and other communication electronically unless statutory law specifically requires different communication.

14. Governing law and disputes
In the event of a dispute that we’ve not been able to resolve through direct contact with you, you may bring legal proceedings against Rugvista either in Sweden or in the courts of your country of residence. In addition, disputes may be submitted for online resolution to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution Platform.
B2B Terms and conditions
The terms and conditions for purchase and delivery below apply when you, as a business customer with a valid EU VAT number, buy products from www.rugvista.com and have them delivered to you unless you, as a business customer, have entered into a separate agreement with Rugvista. The specific agreement governing the company’s relationship with Rugvista applies in such a case.
If you make a purchase as a business customer, you enter into an agreement and accept these terms and conditions on behalf of your company and guarantee that you have the authority to make the purchase.

Order and formation of contract
When you have placed an order, you will get an automatic email confirmation that we will process your order. A binding agreement is entered into when you receive notification from us that your order is ready for delivery. Your purchase is subject to the version of the purchase and delivery conditions in force at the time of your purchase. Remember to always keep your receipt when you make a purchase.

Information and prices
When making a purchase on www.rugvista.com, the prices shown at the time of purchase apply. All prices include the VAT rate in force. Prices include any payment and shipping charges, which are shown separately. We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors, and individual products may be sold out, be withdrawn from the range or temporarily may not be available for order.
VAT-Free for Businesses within the EU
Companies that are VAT-registered and can provide a valid EU VAT number will not be charged VAT. Prices in the online store are displayed including VAT; the VAT will be deducted at checkout after you have logged in or registered a new account. Payment
Several payment options are available. Rugvista retains ownership of products until full payment is made. Binding contract is only formed upon receipt of full payment. If, in respect of bank transfer, payment is not received within five business days, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Warranty and responsibility
If a product purchased by the company proves to be defective, the company has the right to make a complaint in accordance with the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act. What constitutes a defect, and the applicable complaint period is regulated in Sections 17–21 of the Sale of Goods Act.
In respect of hand-made products and unique products individual minor variations should be expected and do not constitute a defect or fault. In respect of vintage, semi- or antique rugs usual signs of use, previous ownership, or properties of such rugs evident from the description of the item do not constitute a defect.
Rugvista is liable for damage caused by delays or defects as per law only but Rugvista is never liable for indirect damages, consequential damages or force majeure (war, pandemics, strike, carrier delays etc.).
